SIModified Staff
Folks
often ask us "Who is SIModified?" Here's a chance to get to know the
folks who make this site and the SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues
possible.
Dan Nisbet - Dan
resides in Fargo, North Dakota and is the man responsible for making
SIModified.com happen. He's a freelance 3D modeller and graphic artist and
maintains his own website, Dan Nisbet.com.
All of the 3D models in the SIModified.com mod were made by him without any
help from the actual chassis designers. Dan created every car model
strictly from photographs supplied to him.
Tracy"Tucknut" Hutchens
- Tracy grew up in a racing family in Bassett, Virginia. He is the son
of double track owner John Hutchens and cousin of Whelen Southern
Modified Tour driver, Bobby Hutchens. Tracy is well known throughout
the sim racing community for his outstanding paint and graphic talents.
He also maintains his own website, Tucknut.net.
Tracy made all the paint templates and numerous authentic cars for the
mod. Many of his authentic cars are available in the Car Depot.
Matthias"King D.A." Reinert
- Matthias resides in Luechow, Germany. He joined SIModified.com in
October 2006 after being contacted by Charli and Dan to help with
importing Dan's 3D models into the Papyrus code. His knowledge of the
.psg script and importing the models was one of the most important
parts of getting the mod completed. He also helped with getting the dash and cockpit view converted over to the modified style
cockpit. Matthias maintains his own website, King D.A. Construction Company that offers the sim racing community real and fictional road courses.
Charli Brown
- Charli grew up in Connecticut and raced Quarter Midgets, Pro4
Modifieds
or "Mini Modifieds" on the NEMMA Pro4 Tour, Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks.
He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1990 and began working in and
around the sport of NASCAR. Charli returned to modified racing in 2004
as a part time member of the Riggs Racing Team and driver, Junior
Miller. Currently, Charli works as a spotter for modified driver Jeremy
Stoltz at Bowman Gray Stadium and is a freelance writer for
RiggsRacing.com. He maintains the website and paints cars for the
Car Depot as well as racing in the SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues
where he won the 2007 Overall Championship in the True Value/Race of
Champions Modified Series. Joshua"Butter" Guiher - Josh resides in State College, Pennsylvania and is also a long
standing member in the sim racing community. Josh discovered a glitch
in the track building process and is credited with a track building
rule named after him called "The Butter
Rule." He's the man responsible for building Jennerstown Speedway from
scratch utilizing his awesome track building talents. Josh is a league admin and the
creator of the Sunday Night Late Model Series as well as a loyal
sponsor of the site. He is also a
driver in the SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues and is the Spring
Series Champion on the Whelen Modified Online Tour.
Chris"OModified" O'Shell -
Chris resides in Huntersville, North Carolina and is a member of ASTG
which stands for the American Short Track Group. Chris has had a hand
in building almost every track released for download on the site. He
visits and takes numerous pictures
of the tracks and replicates them for us and for the downloads page. He
is also a driver in the SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues and
is the 2007 Fall Season Champion in the True Value/Race of Champions
Modified Series.

- Richie resides in Haskell, New Jersey and is one of the many drivers
racing with us who has raced modifieds in his career. Currently, he races a TQ Midget
in the ATQMRA. Richie is a league admin for our online racing leagues
and is known as a fair and consistant official. Richie took over the
Sunday Night Late Model Series for Josh while he was away on business
and is also another loyal sponsor of the site. He also races in
the SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues and won his first online racing
championship on the 2007 Whelen Modified Online Tour. He also won
the driver's championship for the Modified Division in the Short Track
Pro Cup Series and was also a member of the team that helped SIModified win the modified team championship.
Keith Joseph
- Keith resides in Lockport, New York and is a championship winning
crew chief for SST Modified driver Jim Pierce. Keith is our "Technical
Director" and often fields questions about Modified chassis, engines
and setups. He is also another loyal sponsor of the site and driver in the
SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues in the True Value/Race of Champions
Modified Series.
James"Viperpainter" Fritz
- James resides in Mebane, North Carolina and is also another long
standing member of the sim racing community. While not as prominant as
some of the other members of the group, James still offers advice and
moderates the 3D Studio Max portion of the forum. He is also a talented
painter who has had several sites of his own over the years, as well as
contributing to several more. James' "out of the box" ideas with fictional paint
schemes is second to none.
Kari K.
- Kari resides in Charlotte, North Carolina and is the resident "Forum
Mistress." She also oversees all Paypal donations and League
